Τhe ANILIO ADVENTURE PARK, situated close to Metsovo, up to 1.650-1.850m, is a new project and it includes the Anilio Ski Resort, not to be confused with the Metsovo Ski Center, and the Chalet “Chamois”. Our company “My Adventure-Event Organizer Pro” took over the management of the Anilio Ski Resort in November 2017, which we renamed to Anilio Adventure Park. We have been working on redeveloping all the ski slopes, renovating completely the Chalet and creating a Fun Park that can be functional all seasons, providing a variety of activities (trekking, cycling, mountain bike, camping, skiing, snowboard, ski mountaineering, social and cultural events) for families, children and adults.

The Anilio Ski School can offer private or group ski lessons with experienced and qualified instructors, for all levels and ages.

Anilio Ski Resort For the present, the Anilio Ski Resort has 9 well marked pistes, offering 5 lifts: a two-person chairlift, two (2) ski tow (surface) lifts and two (2) baby lifts for children and beginners. This year we are about to operate a new piste suitable for ski mountaineering, a real challenge for free riders. The certified Snowpark offers rails, obstacles and jumps, ideal for free style skiers and snowboarders. Apart from that, there are sledges for children and adults in a specially created area, to enjoy sledging safely. Brand new snowmobiles for snow rides is also one of our best facilities. The Resort is fully equipped with modern and high quality gear, which you can easily find at the “Petit Chalet” where you buy the tickets. There is also a Snow bar available for hot drinks and snacks.

Access

Anlio Adventure Park has the unique advantage of easy access. It can be reached via the National Highway “Egnatia Odos” and as soon as you reach the region of Ioannina you simply take the Exit “Anilio”. Then you only drive 7km up to the Resort. The local authorities are always alert on weather conditions and road maintenance; therefore, snow clearance services are on a 24hour basis.

Leisure and Culture

The Anilio Adventure Park is located in the Municipality of Metsovo. Metsovo, the Municipality seat, is a populated town with a vivid community, an art museum, a famous wine cellar, the Cheese Factory with the Protected Designation of Origin products and traditional handcraft markets. Ioannina, the capital of Epirus, is just 50km far from the Resort, easily reached within 35-40 minutes via the National Highway “Egnatia Odos”. Ioannina, is a modern but historic city, a crossroads of civilizations. The incredible museums, the unique cave, the little island in the lake Pamvotis, the castle and the warm hospitality with the local gastronomy, are some of the features of the city’s identity.

Chalet Chamois

Just only a few meters from the pistes, the Chalet Chamois is a stylish newly renovated, two-floor building, with fabulous view all around through the glass window walls. The Restaurant is on the top floor, while coffee and snack bar on the ground floor. The menu is based on the local and Greek cuisine. Cozy atmosphere, nice service, friendly staff and normal prices make it an ideal place to spend the day and enjoy the meal and coffee.
